Terms of service
The agreement between your organization and GreatlyBoard. Written to be read.
Last updated 10 September 2026
Draft, pending legal review. This text describes how GreatlyBoard actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet a binding agreement. Bracketed items still need completing.
The agreement
These terms are between Greatly Living LLC ("we", "us") and the organization that signs up ("you"). By creating an account or using GreatlyBoard, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.
What the service is
GreatlyBoard is software for coordinating property turnovers: the work between a property being occupied and being ready again. It organises tasks, inspections, issues, providers, maintenance and inventory, and it records the decisions your team makes.
It is a coordination tool, not an agent. GreatlyBoard does not employ, vet, supervise, insure or pay the cleaners and contractors you work with, and it makes no commercial commitment on your behalf. Assigning a provider, approving a quote and deciding a unit is ready are always actions taken by a person in your organization, recorded against their name.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the people you invite do.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it.
- You must be able to enter into a contract, and you must not use the service where it would break the law.
Your data is yours
Everything you put into GreatlyBoard stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy policy, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not use one customer's operational records to build a product for another.
You can export or ask for a copy of your data at any time, including after you cancel.
What you pay
- Plans are monthly and priced per active unit — a base price with units included, plus a rate for each additional active unit. Starter is $49 a month with 5 units included. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Only units marked active are billed. Units you archive cost nothing and keep their records.
- We count your active units ourselves, from your portfolio. You are never asked to declare a number.
- Prices exclude tax, which is added where it applies.
- Payment is taken in advance for each month by our payment processor.
Trial
New organizations get 14 days free. If you do not start a plan by the end of it, the account stops being able to run new turnovers — but nothing you recorded is deleted, and it stays readable.
Changing plan
- Moving up takes effect immediately. You are charged the difference for the remainder of the month, prorated.
- Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, so you never pay twice for the same period. Before you confirm, we show you what it will cost and which capabilities you would lose.
- Adding units mid-month is prorated onto your next invoice. We show the estimate before it is issued.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. The subscription ends at the close of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut you off mid-month, and we do not refund the remainder of a period.
After it ends, your records stay readable for 30 days so you can export them. We then delete them. Nothing is deleted the moment you cancel.
If a payment fails
We will tell you and try again. Work already under way is never interrupted — somebody may be standing in a unit with a guest arriving, and a card problem is not a reason to break that. If the account stays unpaid, we may suspend it after giving you notice, and your data remains readable and exportable throughout.
Availability
We aim to keep GreatlyBoard available and to give notice before planned maintenance. We do not promise it will never be unavailable. There is no service level agreement on the published plans; Enterprise agreements may include one.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to break the law, or to store data you have no right to store
- Attempt to reach another organization’s data, or to probe or disrupt the service
- Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement
- Use provider job links for anything other than coordinating the work they describe
Limits on our liability
GreatlyBoard helps you run an operation; it does not run it. We are not liable for decisions your team makes, for work a provider does or fails to do, for a property being late, or for revenue you did not earn.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 30 days of us telling you, or immediately where the law requires it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then if you disagree.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to the courts of [venue].
